World's Smallest Political Quiz, Randomized

The Advocates for Self-Government has been running a quiz for quite a long time to place a person’s political affiliation in one of the categories of Libertarian, Liberal, Centrist, Conservative, or Statist. This site has had a link in the sidebar since its inception.

One of the criticisms of the quiz is that it’s too upfront about what it does. A “Yes” answer always means more liberty, and it's stated up front which questions go with which category. I’ve written an alternative that randomizes not only the questions but also which response means a greater liberty metric. Just answer the questions as usual, and the results take you to the same result page on The Advocates website.

Government should not censor speech, press, media or Internet.
Replace government welfare with private charity.
Social Security is an important program; keep it.
Government does too many important things to cut taxes and spending significantly.
End government barriers to international free trade.
There should be no National ID card.
Repeal laws prohibiting adult possession and use of drugs.
There should be no laws regarding sex for consenting adults.
End “corporate welfare.” No government handouts to business.
Military service should be voluntary. There should be no draft.
